Co-Enzyme Q-10 - Botanical Medicines

Co-Enzyme Q-10

Co-enzyme Q-10, according to Dr. Keith Folker's 1985 article in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences , is extracted from tobacco leaves by a special technique that eliminates any adverse ingredients related to tobacco smoking. Co-enzyme Q-10 is found in the mitochondria of cells and is key electron carrier in the cellular electron transport process which generates chemical and electrical energy. Adequate co-enzyme Q-10 levels are essential for the health of all human tissues. Current research being conducted by Folkers and others are investigating its role in cardiovascular health, cancer management, chemotherapy, infections, periodontal disease, and aging.
