Snorting cocaine can cause perforated septums (tiny holes in the nasal
membranes).
Intravenous users (IU) suffer the risk of hepatitis, AIDS, and other
diseases.
Smoking cocaine can seriously damage the lungs.
Chronic use can produce affective disorder, schizophrenia, and
personality disturbances.
Other side effects include tremors, twitching, malnutrition, sexual
dysfunction, insomnia, paranoia, auditory or visual hallucinations,
psychosis, coma, strokes, seizures, liver damage, heart failure, and
respiratory arrest.
Sudden death can occur in otherwise healthy people.
