Hello

My daughter who attends Morley high School in leeds has been diagnosed as having school avoidance. She is currently receiving help with this.

Before she was ill she was showing symptoms and missing lessons for which she was wrongly in my opinion, excluded for 3 days. The Head has insisted that she serve 5 days in isolation as a punishment for this before returning. She has great difficulty in doing this and my GP has provided supportive evidence. Others such as the school nurse have tried to move the school in their position but to no avail. However the Head will not let her return graually to lessons without her doing the isolations.

I have made a complaint against the Head and am taking a discrimination claim.

However is there any advice anyone could give please.
